Micheline Mazurski Artist

Micheline Mazurski, the creative force behind Wilde Street Art, has always found artistic expression to be a vital part of life. Whether through painting, sewing, photography, or drawing, these outlets have provided a way to decompress and find balance, especially during a decade-long career as a mental health clinician. Art has been more than just a hobby for Micheline—it's a practice that nurtures personal reflection and well-being.

Growing up in rural northwestern Ontario, Micheline developed a deep connection to nature, which continues to inspire her work. This love of the natural world, combined with a passion for fashion and interior design, informs the distinctive pieces she creates today. Specializing in repurposing authentic animal skulls and antlers, Micheline transforms these raw elements into luxurious home decor pieces, adorned with Swarovski crystals.

Inspired by Calgary's rugged landscape and western influences, Micheline's work merges beauty with meaning. What might be seen as morbid or outdated is given new life through a playful, elegant, and modern lens. The goal is to create decor that not only catches the eye but sparks conversation, leaving a lasting impression—something guests will remember and perhaps even envy.

For Micheline, the creative process is like solving a puzzle—each piece coming together in a meditative flow of design and craftsmanship. The fusion of nature, fashion, and interior design creates not only visually striking decor but also meaningful, personalized artwork that reflects both elegance and the raw beauty of the natural world.
